Enel designates Marco Fragale as a new Country Manager for Peru

  • Starting March 1st, the executive will take over the reins of the Peruvian holding company for Enel Distribución Perú, Enel Generación Perú, Enel Generación Piura, and the business lines Enel Green Power Perú and Enel X Perú.

 

Lima, February 25th, 2021. Italian executive Marco Fragale was appointed as the new Country Manager of Enel Perú. Starting March 1st, he will fill the position of José Manuel Revuelta, who led the company for the last three years.

Fragale assumes the reins of the Peruvian holding for Enel Distribución Perú, responsible for bringing electricity to 1.4 million customers in Lima and Callao, Enel Generación Perú and Enel Generación Piura, both electric power generators, as well as the renewable division Enel Green Power Perú and the energy solutions unit Enel X Perú.

The brand-new Country Manager of Enel Perú is a mechanical engineer from the Milan Polytechnic and has a Master's degree in Engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology. He has 14 years of experience in the Enel Group, occupying different management positions. The most recent was as Director of Colombia and Peru of Power Generation, a business line that generates energy through conventional and renewable sources.

He also served as director of Italy Portfolio Evolution and responsible for the Futur-e project, the objective of which was the restoration of 23 disused power plants in Italy and a closed lignite mine.
