He holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico, Peru and has postgraduate studies at Universidad de Piura, Peru. In addition, he participated in the Wharton Management Congress at the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. He has been a Director of the Company since March 27, 2018. Senior executive, with more than 25 years of experience in the private sector in General Management positions and as a member of Boards of Directors of listed and unlisted companies and groups, with responsibilities on Income Statements and definition and execution of Strategic Plans and M&A processes.
He was President of the National Confederation of Private Business Institutions -CONFIEP (period 2015 - 2017). Likewise, in the public sector he developed five years of experience as Congressman of the Republic (period 2006-2011) and Minister of the Foreign Trade and Tourism portfolio (period 2009-2010).
He is a Director of Credicorp, Banco de Crédito del Perú, Pacífico Seguros, Universal Textil, Inversiones Centenario, Sigma SAFI and Entel Perú.
He is directly involved in institutions related to the economic sector, such as the Peruvian Institute of Economics - IPE, where he is Director and former President, and the Private Anticorruption Council of which he was founder. In addition, he was President of the National Confederation of Private Business Institutions - CONFIEP (period 2015 - 2017).
